There are 13 S&P companies headquartered in Colorado, Nevada, and Utah. There are 8 S&P companies in Colorado with Nevada and Utah having 3 and 2 companies respectively. EY audits 7 of the largest companies within these three states bringing in a total audit fee of $37 million. Here are the details for the companies in this region.

PwC’s biggest audit client in these three states is Ball Corp which brings in $13.60 million in audit fees. Newmont Corporation is EY’s biggest audit client which pays $12.8 million in audit fees.

There are 12 S&P 500 clients headquartered in Connecticut. PwC’s Hartford office brings in most audit revenues of $44.77 million among the other firms. However, KPMG has 5 clients and $37 million in total audit revenues. The market is fairly split into the four firms and probably more even that most other regions we have seen before.

CIGNA is PwC’s biggest audit client in the region bringing them total audit fees of $26.77 million. Deloitte’s biggest audit client in the region is Hartford Financial. EY’s biggest audit client in the region is Stanley Black & Decker. Charter Communications is KPMG’s biggest audit client in the region in terms of audit fees.

There are 12 S&P 500 clients in Minnesota. PwC leads the pack bringing in $51 million of audit and related fees followed by Deloitte with $39 million. EY and KPMG takes the third and fourth place respectively.

US Bancorp is EY’s biggest audit client in Minnesota with audit fees of $26.40 million. Deloitte’s biggest audit client in Minnesota is United Health Group bringing in audit fees of $26 million. 3M Company is PwC’s biggest audit client in the Minnesota market.

There are 7 S&P 500 companies in Indiana. EY Indianapolis office audits 3 of those companies bringing in a total of $43 million in audit fees. PwC Indianapolis office audits 2 clients with a fee revenue of $24 million. Deloitte, and KPMG audits 1 each of the remaining companies respectively.
